And now it’s late afternoon. The sun is bright and warm and I’m inside a cool dim office.
Something’s wrong with this picture.
I will write very little, because I am shortly going outside.
I did have a most productive morning of writing though! I came to the aftermath of the hijacking where Jade must wrestle through his moral conundrums. He wants so desperately to be a good person, but is quickly running into the reality that, if he wants to protect his loved ones, he needs to flex a little power. In his case, that can very easily mean hurting people.
So what do you do when you have your ideals, but somebody else has a gun to your twin’s head?
Jade is shortly going to find that trying to be relentlessly moral causes others to resent him. He’s also going to find that he actually loses power because he loses trust and opportunities.
Coming soon, coming coon, coming soon…..
okay, now going out into the sunshine!!!
